Loyle Carner

I'm back, been a long time gone, been at Uni.

Loyle Carner, fellow South Londoner and a fresh voice on the Hip Hop scene. Some have referred to him as the 'Saviour of Hip Hop,' dramatic as it sounds, he will become a big name by the end of 2017 without a doubt.

Only found out about this guy because his tour is coming to UEA, but unfortunately for me i'll be in the U.S.A when he arrives, but i'll be seeing him at Boardmasters this summer so no complaints here. He's on the list for pretty much all the big festivals, even Glastonbury, his name is being spread thick on the music scene.

Think Tom Misch and add a more Hip Hop vibe then you have Carner. His Fire in the Booth was convincing and confident and his album is a collection of chilled tunes, each unique in their own way.
Check out the links below for my personal favourite tunes.

Considering he's only 20, he has the makings of a long and successful career, watch this space. London is continuing to produce strong artists who are dominating the music scene, the recognisable accent adds a realness to the lyrics, making it relatable to the listeners.

Over the past couple of years Britain has begun to dominate the music scene, and I'm sure it will continue to create musicians who ignore the theatrics and go back to nitty gritty lyrics.

Check out his website for tickets to his tour, get in whilst he's growing in popularity.
