I'm back!

And I bring with me a band who encompass the true essence of summer, which is great timing. Even though Britain is grey and gloomy this band will transport you to a beach instantly

Box of Light are a band from humble Norwich who coming into their own. It is very rare to find a band who sound so vintage yet completely fresh and new at the same time. It should also be noted that their music videos are works of art, I'm particular 'Always You' is simply beautiful to watch whilst still capturing the essence of that band.

Helen Anderson the 'front woman' sings effortlessly with a unique style alongside Conor Etteridge's skilled musicality.

They are successful on YouTube without being a classic 'YouTube' band, Helen is proud to say they keep it old school, even commenting they record their music onto tapes.

The focus is completely on the music which has obviously improved over the years. They sound well polished and rehearsed.
Their live performances are full of energy as Helen works the stage- she was born to entertain.

It's hard to make comparisons with other bands, but if you like honest fun loving music you'll love this lot. But my faves have to be their live sessions recorded on YouTube, especially Anywhere. (link below)
