Keys and Krates

I'm currently at the University of Oregon and at first I was apprehensive about the music scene, with my home university booking huge names such as Sub Focus, Andy C and Chase and Status I felt pretty left out, why did Norwich suddenly become so lit?

Thank god Keys and Krates came along, I was starting to pull my own hair out with boredom.
I did a quick background check before I saw them live because honestly i'd never heard of them before, and don't get me wrong I wish I had. This Canadian electronic band formed in 2008 but arguably came into the spotlight in 2014 with the nomination for various awards.

I saw Keys and Krates 'Cura Tour' in Eugene, Oregon at McDonald Theatre. All together a sick night, the warm up acts kinda disappointed me, was bare excited for Promnite to play his tunes, but got some remixes instead. I recommend 'Call me' and 'Gunsmoke' if you're gonna check him out.

Keys and Krates set was high energy and fully lit, even though it was a small crowd, Eugene is a small town in the middle of nowhere so I expected that. The crowd were loving it, special shout out to their mix of Tove Lo's 'Habits (Stay High) that sent me properly over the edge. Then of course when they slapped 'Glitter' on the crowd went wild, another one to listen to is 'Music to my Ears.' Good music, good crowd, good energy. Special shout out to the guys who were more than happy to meet their crowd afterwards and sign albums - stay humble.

Watch this space, got a few more gigs coming up, Fleet Foxes and Alt-J are gracing Oregon with their presence and I for one, can't fucking wait.
